The South Australian Government has announced a second round of cash grants of up to $10,000 to assist small businesses who continue to be impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

To be eligible for the $10,000 cash grant, a business must:

  • Employ people in South Australia as at 30 September 2020
  • Have turnover of more than $75,000 (excluding GST) in either 2018/19 or 2019/20
  • Have payroll of less than $1.5 million in either 2018/19 or 2019/20, and not be entitled to a payroll tax waiver or deferral under COVID-19 support measures
  • Have an ABN and were carrying on the operation of a business in SA on 30 September 2020
  • Be participating in the Extended Job Keeper Payment scheme from 28 September 2020

To be eligible for the $3,000 cash grant, a business must:

  • Not be employing in South Australia as at 30 September 2020
  • Have turnover of more than $75,000 (excluding GST) in either 2018/19 or 2019/20
  • Have an ABN and be carrying on the operation of a business in SA on 30 September 2020
  • Be participating in the Extended Job Keeper Payment Scheme from 28 September 2020
  • Be operating from a commercial premise
