Claire Rathjen

Claire joined RJC Evans & Co as a Junior Administration Assistant after completing a secretarial course in 1998.  Claire then became interested in bookkeeping and began her studies at TAFE, moving onto University to complete her Degree in 2005, whilst working full time at our firm.

The introduction of the Goods and Services Tax gave Claire the opportunity to move up within our firm to join the professional staff in late 1999.  She worked for Paul Anson’s team originally, then for Stephen Evans for many years until starting her family in 2009, when she began working part time and once again working for Paul until his retirement in 2022.

Claire is currently a Manager/Team Supervisor drawing on her years of experience to guide and mentor junior staff.

Claire has a sound understanding of small business taxation and compliance in many industries. She is particularly interested in Agri Business due to growing up on a farm in the Mid North of South Australia.  Claire enjoys helping clients with their computer software programs as she is proficient in Xero, MYOB, Phoenix, Cashflow Manager and Reckon Accounting packages.
